For the Hermes Experiment
Written for the Hermes Experiment, Memories, Dreams, Reflections makes use of the groups unique forces of clarinet, double bass, harp and soprano.
The notation dictates the overall form of the piece whilst allowing the musicians some control note choice and phrasing. The text is taken from psychoanalyst Carl Jung's accounts of his dreams from the autobiography that lends its name to this piece.
